Making a Donation

Want to support our 2017 Summer Reading Program?  This year’s theme is “Build a Better World.”  We’re building a list to make summer fun for all ages.  Donations greatly appreciated!

  • Fairy House items (furniture, grass, fairies)
  • Scrap Wood
  • Tools (small hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, saws)
  • Building Supplies (screws, washers, roofing nails)
  • Locks (with keys)
  • Hinges
  • Chain locks
  • Door knobs

Donations of new, clean or gently used items for JCCL’s own shelves are always welcomed.  We especially need DVD’s and current hardcover fiction & non-fiction children’s books.  Call the library at 860-642-6207 to arrange a time to drop them off.

Find a new home for your new or recycled household items while supporting JCCL craft programs.  All supplies are most appreciated!  Here’s our current wish list:

  • Paper Towel Tubes
  • Empty Oatmeal Containers
  • Clean Baby Food Jars
  • Plastic Bags
  • Garbage Bags
  • Paper Plates
  • Paper Doilies
  • Colored Paper
  • Copy Paper
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Markers
  • Pens/Pencils
  • Glue Sticks
  • New Magazine Subscriptions (see Chris for the library’s current list)

Thank you for your ongoing generosity and support!
